Mandelbrot Set

The Mandelbrot Set (named after Benoit B. Mandelbrot) is just the collection of points (the black ones) stable under the iteration f(x)= x² + c. The colours indicate how unstable a point is.
The Mandelbrot Set turns up a lot in my talks, it’s one of those things that I find jaw dropping every single time…
